MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT/PRINCIPAL

Hello and welcome to St. John School District!

My name is Tina Strong, and I have the absolute privilege of serving as the Superintendent/Principal of this incredible district. With over 16 years in education, I’ve worn many hats—classroom teacher, intervention specialist, vice principal, and superintendent/principal—but at the heart of it all, I’m someone who simply loves working with kids. Helping students discover their voice, their passion, and their purpose is what drives me every single day.

I’ve raised four amazing children of my own, and I know firsthand the importance of a strong, supportive school community. That’s why I believe so deeply in unified leadership—working with our students, staff, families, and community to ensure every child receives a top-notch education, rooted in pride, purpose, and possibility.

Here in St. John, we lead with small-town values and big hearts. We teach our kids to see their strengths, to challenge themselves, and to take pride in who they are—both inside and outside of the classroom. Together, we’re building a place where every child is known, every voice matters, and every dream has a place to grow.
