Good Afternoon Eagles Community 🦅
I want to share a quick update with our families and community. Earlier today, a sticker with concerning language was discovered after it fell out of a student’s notebook. Our staff immediately looked into the situation.
After reviewing what occurred, we were able to determine that there was no threat to our school or community, and everything on campus remains safe.
As always, we take student safety very seriously and appreciate the staff and students who quickly brought it to our attention so we could address it right away.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our school community safe and supportive for all of our students. ❤️💛
Serving you, Ms. Strong
Thanks so much!

🤒🌡️ Wondering when your child is too sick for school?
Good attendance helps students succeed, but when kids are truly sick, staying home helps them recover and keeps others healthy!
Use this helpful guide from the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to know when to keep your child home:

Our Eagles were busy in Home Economics… and let’s just say the room smelled pretty amazing! 🍪🦅
There’s something special about learning that happens with flour on the counters, a little teamwork, and maybe a few chocolate chips that didn’t quite make it into the bowl. 😉
Students spent the day baking cookies, learning real-life skills, working together, and of course taste-testing their hard work. From measuring and mixing to baking and sharing, these are the moments where learning becomes fun, memorable, and a little delicious.
I’m pretty sure some future bakers were discovered today! 👩🍳👨🍳
Way to go, Eagles! ❤️💛

Our kids showed a lot of heart on Thursday! ❤️
Thanks to their hard work raising money for the American Heart Association (through the Kids Heart Challenge), they earned the chance to duct tape Mr. White to the wall! For every $10 raised, another piece of tape was added… and let’s just say Mr. White didn’t stand a chance!

St. John preschoolers had so much fun creating Dr. Suess art! ✨🦊🍳

Endicott School District's Pre-K had a visit from the Cat and the Hat today. As they celebrate Read Across America Week. Read Across America Week 2026 takes place March 2–6, 2026, focusing on the theme "Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers" with a spotlight on "Champion Kindness". Organized by the National Education Association, this initiative encourages children to explore diverse books that reflect varied experiences, fostering empathy and a lifelong love of reading. We have the best staff willing to put on many hats.

🦸♀️🦸♂️💥✨ Not all superheroes wear capes… but ours do! St. John preschoolers showed off their superhero style while building their reading superpowers on Tuesday for Read Across America week!
